I read two books this Read-A-Thon . Wish I could have read more but I am proud out what I read in the time I did :) I haven't read the past few days because of being sick and I just couldn't bring myself to read whenever I tried. Starting to feel better so I will be reading more again :) For someone who doesn't read a whole lot a week I am really proud for the books I read and am glad they were so good. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series and the infernal devices series. Cassandra Clare's writing is so amazing. I love the pace and the relationship element is done very well :) I will definitely also be going to see the city of bones movie also!! You all shoud go and read the books and see the movie! You won't regret it!
Keep Up the Good Work!

So today I did a lot of reading and read all of City Of Glass ! Just kept pushing myself and basically did nothing but read :) it was an amazing book and those of you who follow me on twitter saw how I put a few tweet about certain parts lol. The whole The Mortal Instruments series is truly spectacular and I've already in preparation bought the 4&5 books for my iPad Mini! So excited to read those and be in anticipation for the 6th. Plus the companion series I think it's the infernal devices series looks really good also :) Tomorrow though I will venture away from the shadowhunter land and am going to try and push to get The Perks Of Being A Wallflower read tomorrow :) I really kinda want to try and keep up the pace of a reasonable paged book a day :) Hope your days go well tomorrow and another update will be posted :)

"When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder—much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It’s hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing—not even a smear of blood—to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary’s first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It’s also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace’s world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know..."
This book is amazing I thought at the beginning it would end up disappointing me but it didn't disappoint. I am so glad I read it and also that I read it in time for the movie. This story is great for those who love fantasy, SiFi, and books dealing with other worldly creatures. I loved the story of clary and how she is trying to find her mother and also finding herself in this crazy circumstance she has found herself in. I also love how they portray all the different creatures like werewolves and vampires and etc. I give this book a BIG two thumbs up!!! It is definitely a book worth reading!

"I recognized him at once–not just because he was so tall, and there aren’t a lot of guys who are taller than me, but also because he had such a distinctive face. Not handsome, really. But attractive. And nice. And strong-looking.
The weirdest part was, he seemed to recognize me, too, even though he could only have seen me for, like, five seconds that day in the park.
“Hey,” he said, smiling, not just with his lips, but with his blue eyes, too.
Just Hey. That’s all. Hey.
But it was a Hey that made my heart flop over inside my chest.
Who is Will Wagner, and how is it that Ellie, the new girl at Avalon High, feels as if she’s known him all her life, when she’s only just met him?
A long-ago legend comes to new life in this tale of a love triangle, a medieval sword, and a totally awesome pool raft.
Avalon High seems like a typical high school, attended by typical students: There’s Lance, the jock. Jennifer, the cheerleader. And Will, senior class president, quarterback, and all-around good guy.
But not everybody at Avalon High is who they appear to be . . . not even, as new student Ellie is about to discover, herself. What part does she play in the drama that is unfolding? What if the bizarre chain of events and coincidences she has pieced together means–as with the court of King Arthur–tragedy is fast approaching Avalon High?
Worst of all, what if there’s nothing she can do about it?"
This is a very great book. With the fantastic writing and amazing plot this story is a great read. It is highly recommended for people who like intelligent reads with links to history and myths. It is also a good book for people who like romance. I first got interested in this book from my love of the Disney movie and when I read the book I wasn't disappointed. The book lived up to and in some ways surpassed my expectations. A very good read I give it five stars.
